Located in the University Area Community Center main building in classroom 109, the INVEST Workforce Computer Lab provides local residents with much-needed access to the internet, job assistance, computer courses and printing services. This wonderful service is provided free of charge and operates all year long.

INVEST Workforce infuses a results-based accountability framework to address the desperate need for workforce and entrepreneurial opportunities for residents through coaching, training classes, job search assistance and employment placement.

•  Provides industry-specific certificate training
•  Provides hands-on tutorial training and certifications in a variety of Microsoft Office courses
•  Provides assistance with resume writing and basic computer skill
•  Serves nearly 500 residents a year, bridging the digital divide by providing free access to computers and internet
